This was our second time using Captain Woodsy. We had some friends come with us this time and he took us to Staniel Cay! I don’t think we’ve ever had more of a blast. Tons of snorkeling, swimming with Nurse Sharks at the Yact Club, and so much more that I probably couldn’t even fit it all into this review LOL! I definitely recommend the full day for the full experience.

If you’re visiting Exuma and looking for the highlight of your trip, look no further than Exuma Excursions with Woodsy! I am from California and I have never experienced anything like it. I went to the Bahamas with my girlfriend and this excursion was recommended to us by many locals. It was hands down one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had — a perfect blend of adventure, natural beauty, local charm and thrill.
The full-day (8-hour) tour is the excursion we booked! We contacted Captain Woodsy and he was incredibly nice and helpful when figuring out pricing and tours to choose from. I would love to take the 8 hour tour again and also look into their Half day tours as-well! Our tour (8-hour) took us across some of the most stunningly clear, turquoise waters you’ll ever see. We visited a chain of breathtaking islands and had up-close encounters with wildlife that I’ll never forget. We fed the famous swimming pigs, petted friendly nurse sharks(which was my favorite), and even hung out with curious and adventurous iguanas on their own island. Captain Woodsy had supplied us grapes where then we fed the iguanas with! But for my girlfriend and I, the nurse sharks were just incredible and our favorite! As-well as swimming through the (Thunderball Grotto). As someone who snorkels and dives in California, I’ve never been in clearer water with such beautiful fish. The Grotto was inside a hollow mini island with holes with sunlight coming from the top. It was just incredible. Never thought I would experience anything like it and now I have great pictures to put on my screen saver lol.
But the underwater stops were equally mind-blowing. We snorkeled over Pablo Escobar’s sunken smuggling plane, dove down to a submerged grand piano placed there by David Copperfield, which was only 10-15 feet below the surface so it was incredible to touch.
The boat was comfortable and fast, Captain Woodsy and the deckhand were knowledgeable, fun, and super professional, and the entire day was running smoothly from start to finish. We were able to connect to the Bluetooth and play any songs we wanted! Woodsy and his crew clearly love what they do, and it shows in the way they share the history, wildlife, and hidden gems of Exuma.
Whether you’re an adventurer, a nature lover, or just looking to experience something totally unique, this excursion is 100% worth it. I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Captain Woodsy (Exuma Excursions with Woodsy), for making this day and overall vacation memorable.

This was the best day of our vacation. Woodsy’s Exuma Excursion Company knew all the best spots. We swam into a grotto where we saw all kinds of fish, which was so beautiful and a unique experience. We also got to see and explore caves, snorkel at multiple locations, and even swim with pigs and feed iguanas. We will definitely be back again!!!

My wife and I came to George Town for the first time in March and this excursion was the best day of our vacation. Captain Woodsy knew all the best spots and the Harbour Tours had so much to offer. We went to quite a few sandbars where we got to relax. Chat N Chill was a BLAST too!! We were able to feed stingrays, drink, and enjoy ourselves at the bar and also in the water. We will definetely be back again!!!.

We had an incredible day with Woodsy’s Exuma Excursion Company. From the moment we hopped on the boat, Woodsy made us feel like family. Snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters was breathtaking, and swimming with the pigs was an experience we’ll never forget. The tour along the cays was so beautiful, and Staniel Cay was definitely a highlight. We even got to see starfish and explore the harbour. The sandbars were so much fun to relax on.
